1 Who We Are
Screenshot Blocker ("we", "our", or "us") is an Android application developed to protect user privacy by preventing unauthorized screenshots in selected applications using Android's system-level FLAG_SECURE mechanism.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Screenshot Blocker mobile application (package name: com.screenshield.app) available on the Google Play Store, and governs your use of the app.

2 Information We Collect
The only data processed by Screenshot Blocker is stored locally on your device and is never sent to any server or third party by us. This includes:
- The list of apps you have chosen to protect (stored in local SharedPreferences)
- Your in-app settings (theme, stealth mode, global block toggle)
- Anonymized screenshot-block event counts for the in-app statistics screen
- A flag indicating whether you have purchased a premium plan
None of this data includes your identity, location, contact information, or any content from your screen.
3 Accessibility Service Usage
Screenshot Blocker uses Android's Accessibility Service API solely to detect which application is currently in the foreground. This allows the app to automatically apply or remove screenshot protection based on your configured app list.
This declaration is required for Google Play Store compliance with policies regarding Accessibility API usage. The Accessibility Service is never used for data collection, analytics, or advertising purposes.
4 Third-Party Services
Screenshot Blocker integrates the following third-party SDKs for advertising and billing purposes. These SDKs may collect certain data as described in their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob (Google LLC)
- Used to display banner, interstitial, native, and app-open advertisements to users who have not purchased a premium plan.
- AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID), device information, and usage data for ad personalization.

Google Play Billing (Google LLC)
- Used to process in-app purchases and subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and lifetime plans) to remove advertisements.
- All billing transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not store or process payment card information.

Users who purchase any premium plan will no longer be served any advertisements, and AdMob will not be initialized on their device.
5 Device Administrator Permission
Screenshot Blocker optionally requests the Device Administrator permission. If granted, this permission is used solely to help prevent the app from being uninstalled by unauthorized users, thereby maintaining continuous protection on shared or monitored devices.
The Device Administrator permission is never used to remotely wipe the device, lock the device, enforce password policies, or perform any action beyond protecting the app from uninstallation.
6 App Permissions Explained
Screenshot Blocker requests the following Android permissions:
- System Alert Window (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to draw an invisible FLAG_SECURE overlay over protected apps to block screenshots at the OS level.
- Accessibility Service (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE): Required to detect the foreground app so protection is applied automatically. No screen content is ever read.
- Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): Required to keep the protection service running reliably in the background without being killed by the OS.
- Receive Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Required to automatically restart the protection service after a device reboot.
- Internet (INTERNET): Required solely for loading AdMob advertisements. Not used for any other network communication.
7 Data Retention & Deletion
All data stored by Screenshot Blocker (your app list, settings, and statistics) is stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and internal storage. This data is:
- Automatically deleted when you uninstall the app
- Resettable at any time via Settings → Clear Stats within the app
- Never backed up to any server operated by us
We have no ability to access or delete data on your device remotely, as we do not operate any servers that receive your data.
8 Children's Privacy
Screenshot Blocker is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at toolsappdang@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
9 Security
Because Screenshot Blocker does not transmit data to any server, there is no remote data-in-transit to protect. All local data is stored using Android's standard private application storage, which is isolated from other applications on your device by the Android security model.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We will notify users of significant changes via an in-app notice or a Google Play Store update description.
Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
11 Your Rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Since Screenshot Blocker does not collect personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by default. For any concerns, contact us at:
