STL 3D File Viewer is designed to work locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. The App does not require user registration or account creation.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Recent file history (file names, paths, and access timestamps)
- App preferences and settings
- Saved viewpoints and annotations
This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
2. File Access
The App requires access to files on your device solely for the purpose of opening and displaying 3D model files (STL, OBJ, DXF, GLTF, GLB). We do not upload, copy, or transmit your files to any external server. All file processing occurs entirely on your device.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use certain data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads. This may include:
- Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Device information (model, operating system version)
- App usage data related to ad interactions

All app data (recent files, preferences, saved viewpoints) is stored locally on your device using standard Android storage mechanisms. We do not maintain any external databases or servers that store your data. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be removed from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Storage/Media Access: Required to open and read 3D model files from your device.
- Internet Access: Required for loading and displaying advertisements via Google AdMob.
- Network State: Used to check network availability for ad loading.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. The only data shared with third parties is through Google AdMob as described in Section 3 above.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Clear your recent file history within the App at any time.
- Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
- Contact us with any questions or concerns about your privacy.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates.
