- Modify/Delete Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, MANAGE_MEDIA): These permissions are required to allow you to edit screenshots, delete unwanted images, remove duplicates, and move items to the Recycle Bin. On Android 11+,
MANAGE_MEDIAis used specifically to handle trash operations. - Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): We use this permission to send you reminders about gallery cleanup or to notify you when background scanning tasks are complete.
- Run at Startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): This is used to reset necessary background timers or reminders (such as scheduled cleanup prompts) after your device restarts.

Your images are processed locally on your device. For features like Smart Search (OCR), the text recognition is performed on-device. We do not upload your screenshots to any external server.
