This Privacy Policy describes how RTF to PDF Converter ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
RTF to PDF Converter is designed with your privacy in mind. The App operates entirely offline on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
- Document content or file data
- Location data
- Contact information
- Account or login credentials
All file conversions are performed locally on your device. Your documents never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server.
2. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve ads, including:
- Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
- IP address
- General device information (device model, operating system version)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over the data collected by Google AdMob.
3. Consent for Personalized Ads
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain your consent before showing personalized advertisements. When you first open the App, you will be presented with a consent form where you can choose whether to allow personalized ads. You can change your consent preferences at any time through the "Privacy Settings" option in the App's menu.
If you do not consent to personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized advertisements.
4. Data Storage on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Conversion history (file names, dates, and file sizes)
- App preferences (theme selection, PDF output settings)
- Converted PDF files in your device's app storage
- Advertising consent preferences
This data is stored solely on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the App's data through your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
5. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party service:
- Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. Please review Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use their services.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Storage Access — to read RTF files you select for conversion and to save converted PDF files on your device
- Internet Access — solely for displaying advertisements and loading the consent form
8. Security
Since all document processing occurs locally on your device and we do not collect or transmit your data, your documents remain secure and private. The App does not require an internet connection to perform file conversions.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates.
