This Privacy Policy describes how PSD File Viewer ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
PSD File Viewer is designed with your privacy in mind. The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers.
File Access: The App accesses PSD and PSB files solely on your device for the purpose of displaying them. All file processing is performed locally on your device. We do not upload, copy, or transmit your files to any external server.
Recent Files History: The App stores a list of recently opened files locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time from the Settings screen.
Theme Preferences: Your dark/light theme preference is stored locally on your device and is never shared externally.
2. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use certain information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This may include:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Device information (model, operating system version)
- App usage data and interaction with ads

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting your device's Settings > Google > Ads and enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
3. Data Storage and Security
All app data (recent files list, theme preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that collect or store your data. Since all processing happens on your device, your files and data remain under your control at all times.
4. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to address the concern.
5. Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
- Storage / Media Access: Required to open and read PSD/PSB files from your device storage, and to save exported images (PNG/JPEG) to your gallery.
- Internet Access: Required solely for loading and displaying advertisements through Google AdMob. The App does not use the internet for any other purpose.
- Network State: Used to check network availability for loading advertisements.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. The only data shared externally is the information collected by Google AdMob for advertising purposes, as described in Section 2 above.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Clear your recent files history at any time from the App's Settings screen
- Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings
- Uninstall the App at any time, which will remove all locally stored data
- Contact us with any questions or concerns about your privacy
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
