This Privacy Policy describes how MHTML to PDF Converter ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
MHTML to PDF Converter is designed to operate primarily on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal files or documents to any external server.
- Files: All MHTML and PDF files are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, access, or store your files on any remote server.
- Conversion History: Your conversion history is stored locally on your device using an on-device database and is not transmitted externally.
- Preferences: App settings such as theme, quality defaults, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device.
2. Advertising
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve relevant ads, including:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- General location (based on IP)
- Device information (model, OS version)
- App usage data and interaction with ads

You may opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads, or by purchasing the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase, which disables all advertisements in the App.
3. In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements. This transaction is processed entirely through the Google Play Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All billing and purchase data is managed by Google Play. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more details.
4. Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
- Storage Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to read MHTML files from your device for conversion. This permission is only used on Android 12 and below; on Android 13 and above, the system file picker is used instead.
- Internet (INTERNET): Required for loading advertisements and processing in-app purchases.
- Vibration (VIBRATE): Used for optional haptic feedback when a conversion completes.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to notify you when a conversion is complete. You can disable this in the App settings or your device settings.
- Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING): Required to process in-app purchases through the Google Play Store.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. The only third-party service integrated into the App is Google AdMob for advertising purposes, as described in Section 2 above.
6. Data Retention
All data generated by the App (conversion history, settings, and converted files) is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's data through your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email address below so we can take appropriate action.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App. Since all file processing occurs locally on your device, your documents are never exposed to external networks or servers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
