Your partner's name (entered during onboarding) — stored locally on your device only, never transmitted to our servers.
Your favorite letters, custom letters, and app settings — stored locally via Android SharedPreferences.
Daily streak count and reading history — stored locally on your device.
Anniversary date and notification preferences — stored locally on your device.

Advertising Google AdMob (third-party):

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data to serve relevant ads.
If you purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app product, no ads are shown and AdMob data collection ceases within the App.

Billing Google Play Billing (third-party):

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information.

The locally stored information (partner name, favorites, settings) is used solely to:

Personalize the love letter experience with your partner's name.
Remember your favorite letters across sessions.
Maintain your reading streak and send daily reminder notifications.
Restore your purchased "Remove Ads" entitlement across app launches.

We do not sell, rent, or share this locally stored data with any third party.

3. Data Storage & Security

All user-generated data (name, favorites, custom letters, settings) is stored exclusively on your local device using Android's secure SharedPreferences storage. This data is never uploaded to any server operated by us.

We follow industry-standard practices to protect data within the App; however, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

5. Permissions Used by the App

VIBRATE — for subtle haptic feedback within the App.

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive device features.

6. Children's Privacy

This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the email below and we will take steps to delete such information.

7. Text-to-Speech (TTS)

The App uses Android's built-in Text-to-Speech engine to read letters aloud. This feature operates entirely on-device. No audio data is recorded, stored, or transmitted externally.

8. Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the App will send one daily notification with a love letter reminder. You may revoke this permission at any time through your device's Settings > Apps > Love Letter for Her > Notifications.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Delete your data: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
Opt out of personalized ads: You can opt out through your device's Google Settings > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Remove Ads: Purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app product to stop all ad-related data collection within the App.
Disable notifications: Turn off notifications in your device Settings at any time.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and reflected with a new effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
