This Privacy Policy describes how Invoice Builder ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
Invoice Builder is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.
Local Data: All data you enter into the App — including company profiles, client details, invoices, and preset items — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. We do not have access to this data.
No Account Required: The App does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to us.
2. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:
Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the App. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. This may include:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- General location (based on IP)
- App usage data and interaction with ads
You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's ad settings or by purchasing the premium ad-free upgrade within the App.
Google Play Billing: If you make an in-app purchase to remove ads, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how payment data is handled.
3. Advertising
The free version of the App displays the following types of advertisements provided by Google AdMob:
- Banner ads
- Interstitial ads
- Native ads
- App open ads
You may remove all advertisements by purchasing the one-time "Remove Ads" premium upgrade available within the App.
4. Advertising ID (AD_ID) Permission
The App declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission to allow Google AdMob to use your device's Advertising ID for serving relevant advertisements. This ID can be reset or opted out of at any time through your device settings under Settings > Privacy > Ads.
5. Data Storage and Security
All invoice data, client information, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your data. Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security measures including screen lock, encryption, and any other security features you have enabled.
Please note that if you uninstall the App or clear its data, all locally stored information will be permanently deleted.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App serves ads through Google AdMob which comply with Google's policies regarding children's privacy.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. The only data sharing that occurs is through the third-party services described in Section 2, which operate under their own privacy policies.
8. Your Rights
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:
- View, edit, or delete any data within the App
- Clear all App data through your device settings
- Uninstall the App to remove all associated data
- Reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
