This Privacy Policy describes how Heic Image Converter ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Heic Image Converter is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Photos or images you convert using the App
- File names, file contents, or metadata of your images
- Device identifiers or unique IDs
- Location data
- Contacts or other personal data
All image conversion processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your phone and are never uploaded to any server.
2. Local Data Storage
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Conversion History: A record of file names, sizes, and conversion settings for your reference. This data is stored in the App's local storage and is never transmitted externally.
- App Preferences: Your chosen settings such as output format, quality level, theme preference, and resize options.
You can clear your conversion history and reset preferences at any time from within the App's Settings screen.
3. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Storage Access (Android 9 and below): Required to save converted images to your device's shared storage. On Android 10 and above, the App uses scoped storage and does not require this permission.
We only request permissions that are strictly necessary for the App's core functionality.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This may include:
- Advertising ID
- Device information (model, operating system version)
- IP address (for general location-based ad targeting)
- Ad interaction data
Google's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's ad settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Data Security
Since all image processing occurs locally on your device and we do not collect or transmit personal data, the risk of unauthorized access to your information through our App is minimal. Your converted images are saved directly to your device's storage under your control.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Clear your conversion history at any time within the App
- Reset all App preferences to defaults
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
- Opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings
