This data collection ceases once you purchase the ad-removal option.

1.3 File Access

The App requires access to your device's storage to open and read DjVu document files. We do not upload, transmit, or share any of your documents or file contents with any server or third party. All document processing occurs entirely on your device.

1.4 In-App Purchase Information

The App offers an in-app purchase option to remove advertisements. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details such as credit card numbers or billing addresses. We only receive confirmation of your purchase status to unlock the ad-free experience.

2. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain the App's core document reading functionality.
To diagnose and fix bugs, crashes, and technical issues.
To improve the App's performance, features, and user experience.
To ensure compatibility with different devices and operating system versions.
To display advertisements to users of the free version of the App.

5. Children's Privacy

DjVu Reader Pro is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 6. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions on your device:

Storage/File Access: Required to open, read, and display DjVu document files stored on your device.

Ad Identifier (Google Advertising ID): Used by Google AdMob to serve advertisements in the free version. This identifier is not accessed after you purchase the ad-removal option.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

8. Advertising

The free version of DjVu Reader Pro displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads help us maintain and improve the App at no cost to you. You may see personalized ads based on your interests or non-personalized ads based on contextual information.

You can manage your ad preferences through your device's settings:

On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads to opt out of personalized advertising or reset your advertising ID.

To permanently remove all advertisements and stop all ad-related data collection, you can purchase the ad-removal option available as a one-time in-app purchase within the App.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
The right to request correction of inaccurate data.
The right to request deletion of your data.
The right to withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

Since the App primarily operates offline and stores data locally on your device, your data is retained on your device until you uninstall the App or manually clear the App's data. We do not maintain any external databases of user data. Purchase records for the ad-removal option are managed by Google Play and retained according to Google's data retention policies.
