This Privacy Policy describes how M4A to MP3 Converter ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Information We Do Not Collect
M4A to MP3 Converter is designed with your privacy in mind. The App:
- Does not collect any personal information
- Does not require user registration or account creation
- Does not access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone
- Does not upload your audio files to any server
- Does not track your usage or browsing activity
All audio file conversions are performed entirely on your device. Your files never leave your phone.
File Access
The App requires access to your device's storage solely for the purpose of:
- Reading M4A audio files that you select for conversion
- Saving converted MP3 files to the Music/M4A Converter folder on your device
The App only accesses files that you explicitly select through the file picker. It does not scan or access any other files on your device.
Advertising
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect certain information for the purpose of serving personalized or non-personalized ads. This may include:
- Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
- IP address
- General device information (device model, operating system version)

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Data Storage
The App stores your conversion history (file names, dates, and quality settings) locally on your device using shared preferences. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted anywhere. You can clear this data at any time by using the "Clear All" option in the Converted Files screen or by clearing the App's data in your device settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App contains advertisements which may not be suitable for children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
